  • This is one of the child vapers.. Vaping on the best e-liquid vaporizers for beginners. Guide: E-Liquid Vaporizers for Beginners

Last week we published guide on the best dry herb vaporizers out on the market. This week, we’re taking a different direction. We’ll be looking at some of the best e-liquid vaporizers for beginners, and giving you some tips on the best setups to invest in to start your vaping journey.

I organized this list in order of decreasing ease of use, as I am of the strong belief that a one-size-fits-all approach doesn’t work too well when it comes to vaping; some people may want to test the waters first before upgrading to a more advanced device, while others may want to jump right in and get a vape they can rely on for a long time. Beginner vapers come from a variety of backgrounds and have a variety of expectations, so I will try to make clear what I find each of the vapes on this list best suited for. So, with that said, let’s jump right in!

    Kanger EMUS

If you’re not quite sure vaping is for you, or if you want to test it out for a little while on a reduced budget before fully committing, there are few e-liquid vaporizers better suited for you than the Kanger EMUS. At $29.95 for a kit containing two vaporizer pens, the Kanger EMUS is one of the most affordable starter vaporizer pens on the market. The Kanger EMUS is also among the best e-liquid vaporizers for beginners in general. Not only does it look quite sleek, much like the rest of Kanger’s starter pens (more on that later), but it’s also designed with ease of use in mind. The 1.2mL tank is extremely easy to fill, and the fact that the starter kit comes with two pens means you will never run out of battery, e-liquid, or a functioning tank at the worst time. On top of that, the Kanger EMUS comes with a six month warranty, so you won’t have to worry about wasting your hard earned money on a device that will only work for a couple of weeks. And functionality doesn’t really get much easier than it is with a one-button vape. Charge your battery, fill the tank, and start vaping. That’s about all you need to know to enjoy this vape.

    Kanger EVOD 2

There is a reason the ever-popular Kanger EVOD 2 setup is probably the most visible open-tank system electronic cigarette out there. In fact, there are a few reasons. For one thing, the EVOD 2 is small and discreet enough that you’re not walking around looking like you’re brandishing a miniature lightsaber; the EVOD 2 mostly looks like a pretty sleek pen. For another thing, EVOD 2 operates at a constant 3.7V, taking the guesswork and experimentation out of vaping. That means that instead of fiddling around with variable voltage, wattage, or whatever else, you can just press a button and get right to vaping. But what makes the Kanger EVOD 2 one of the best e-liquid vaporizers for beginners on the market is primarily its reliability. Not to mention the fact that, because the EVOD 2 is so popular, replacement parts can be found in most smoke/vape shops, so you will never find yourself looking frantically for a replacement coil for some sort of obscure device that no one has ever heard of. Overall, I would say that the Kanger EVOD 2 is among the top three e-liquid vaporizers for beginners. Easy to use, reliable, and kind of a sleek SOB.

    Aspire Nautilus + Battery

You might think that the Aspire Nautilus is too complicated of a tank to use as a beginner, but you would be wrong. Case in point? It was the Aspire Nautilus that finally got me into vaping, and anything I can manage, you certainly can as well. Among e-liquid vaporizers for beginners, this is kind of an odd pick. For one thing, the Nautilus does best on a variable voltage or a variable wattage battery. For another, this tank is also somewhat bulkier than any of the other tanks on this list, though this also means that its tank has a much higher capacity than most of the tanks on this list. And on top of that, the glass tank is certainly somewhat more difficult to take care of than some less fragile tanks that can be found on vaporizers primarily aimed at beginners. On the other hand, though, the Nautilus provides about the best vaping experience other than rebuildable atomizers with a tiny fraction of the work involved, so I believe it’s worth the extra work, even for a beginner. If vapor quality is your main concern when it comes to picking a beginning vape, then this is probably the first tank I would recommend, along with a suitable battery (like this VisionSpinner 2). One thing I would suggest, if you choose to go with the Nautilus, is that you stock up on replacement coils and, well, Q-tips. Keeping the tank clean and fresh is one of the keys to keeping the Nautilus relatively hassle-free.

    iTaste MVP 2.0

    MVP 2.0 Starter Kit

One of the best things you could ask for when it comes to a starter e-liquid vaporizer is, well, license to mess up. Which is why the iTaste MVP 2.0 vaporizer starter kit is the real MVP of e-liquid vaporizers for beginners. The iTaste MVP 2.0 comes with a 6 month warranty period, ensuring that you won’t need to worry about anything going wrong during the first few months of your transition to vaping. The variable voltage/variable wattage battery is powerful enough to power almost any tank, including, for instance, the Aspire Nautilus above. Of course, this battery will take more getting used to than the one-button fixed voltage batteries that come with the Kanger kits listed above, but I’ve found it quite easy to get a hang of variable voltage/wattage batteries. All you need is a little bit of patience finding the right wattage for you to vape at. After that, it’s pretty smooth sailing. So if you are willing to invest a little more money and time up front, the iTaste MVP 2.0 kit is a good place to start.

  • Dry herb vaporizers for beginners Dry Herb Vaporizers for Beginners

Have you been looking into purchasing a nice little portable dry herb vaporizer, but instead have found yourself baffled by the wide variety of vapes available on the world wide web? Are you unwilling to shell out hundreds of dollars for a vape you may or may not end up liking? Well then you’ve come to the right place. The shift from smoking to vaping is especially difficult when it comes to dry herbs. While there are endless options out there for e-liquid vaporizers for beginners, the market’s offerings are significantly slimmer when it comes to dry herb vaporizers for beginners. The good news, on the other hand, is that there are some dry herb vaporizers that are quite easy to use and also fall within a price range suitable for beginners.

So, without further ado, here is our VaporPuffs list of affordable dry herb vaporizers for beginners! The items are not listed in any particular order, as the fact that they all work in kind of different ways makes it difficult to rank them against each other. Instead, I’ll try to point out what kind of use they are each best suited for.

    Dry Herb Vaporizers for Beginners

    Snoop Dogg Micro G

The Snoop Dogg Micro G herbal vaporizer was, as the name should indicate, developed alongside Snoop Dogg, whose herbal vaping chops no one on the face of the planet can challenge. The Micro G measures a minuscule 4 inches in length and a little over half an inch in width, making it one of the tiniest herbal vaporizers on the market. It’s literally so tiny that a skilled magician would probably be able to store it up his own nose. Of course, its tiny size means that the Micro G won’t hold quite as much herbal material as some of the other vapes on this list, but portability and capacity always trade off against each other. Another aspect of the Micro G that makes it stand out among dry herb vaporizers for beginners is its overall ease of use. The battery can be charged via USB, which I’ve always found to be the easiest way to charge any vaporizer batteries; further, this is literally a one button vape, which means that there aren’t any complicated displays and adjustments to deal with. Our kit comes with extra heating chambers, meaning that you won’t find yourself in need of extra materials at the most inopportune of times, either.

    Palm Vaporizer

The Palm vaporizer has one of the simplest designs of all dry herb vaporizers, which makes it eminently suited for a beginner looking to switch to vaping. Overall, it looks kind of like a modern pipe, a design I greatly enjoy, and probably would enjoy even more if I had a beard. The Palm is also extremely easy to load; all you have to do is lift the lid that protects the herb chamber and drop in a few pinches of your favorite herbs. It uses standard rechargeable NiMH batteries, and one charge should carry you through at least a couple of vaping sessions. While the batteries will lose charge over the course of a few months of regular use, NiMH batteries are easy to come by. Another aspect of the Palm that makes it perfectly suited to a complete dry herb vaping beginner is its size. The Palm will fit perfectly in your, well, palm, and can be stowed away in even the tiniest of spaces, making it also extremely stealthy, should the situation call for it. Overall, among dry herb vaporizers for beginners, the Palm is definitively one of the frontrunners.

    Cloutank M4

The Cloutank M4 is the perfect starter dry herb vaporizer for those of us who also vape e-liquids. Not only does the Cloutank actually mimic the look of a regular e-liquid atomizer tank, but it can also be used with batteries you probably already possess, as it uses standard 510/eGo threading. While the Cloutank will not hold as much herbal material as some of the other vaporizers on this list, its adaptability makes it one of the best dry herb vaporizers for beginners. The Cloutank can be used with either dry herbs or dry herb wax concentrate, making it the most multifunctional dry herb vape on our list. And, as a bonus, given that it’s practically indistinguishable from an e-liquid atomizer tank, it is also probably one of the stealthiest dry herb vapes out there.

The Titan-II is one of the best dry herb vaporizers for beginners we’ve seen so far. Well, in fact, it’s one of the best dry herb pen-style vaporizers, period. The chamber holds a good amount of herb, and cleanup could not be any easier. All you have to do is pop off the mouthpiece, shake out your vaped herb, and then brush out the leftovers with the pipe brush we provide in our starter kit. Loading the heating chamber, of course, is just as easy; pop off the mouthpiece, drop a couple of pinches of your preferred herbs in the exposed heating chamber, and then replace the mouthpiece and get to vaping! Unlike some of the other vapes on this list, the Titan-II provides a highly customizable experience, as you can easily adjust the vaping temperature and verify it via its LED display. Usually, higher levels of customization are accompanied by a decrease in ease of use, but this isn’t really the case with this vape. As long as you don’t immediately turn the heat up to 400 degrees or something silly like that, the Titan-II will not burn your herb. Among dry herb vapes, it’s difficult to find another vape that heats your herb as evenly as the Titan-II. I cannot but recommend this dry herb vaporizer for beginners, though it’s also perfectly well suited to more advanced dry herb vapers.

So there you have it! Happy vaping!

  • Leo at an awards show! Leo DiCaprio Vaping Everywhere

We’ve talked about celebrity vapers before, since apparently there are a ton of them. But lately celebrities have spotted vaping in more and more visible places. Leonardo DiCaprio, for example, appears to vape at every awards show he ever goes to.

That’s right. Heartthrob Leo of Titanic, mob double-agent Leo, J. Edgar Allen Leo, one of the iconic actors of our generation – well, someone’s generation, at least. That Leo is a vaper.

So let’s take a look at all the places where Leo likes to vape, because that’s fun, right?

    At Awards Shows

    Leo at an awards show!

Leo apparently loves vaping at awards show. Given that those things appear to be around ten hours long and profoundly boring when not hosted by Neil Patrick Harris, that makes complete sense. In fact, it turns out that a ton of actors enjoy vaping at awards shows. Presumably smoking is banned in those venues, and, anyway, no one wants to smell like anything but their own perfume at these things, I would imagine. I even think he’s using the KangerTech Aerotank, maybe!

    At Press Conferences

    Leo at a press conference!

Press conferences are all about projecting an image of yourself to the reporters who basically determine how the public sees you, and Leonardo DiCaprio knows exactly what image he would like to project. That’s probably why he appears to always be vaping at press conferences. Apparently he thinks that vaping is cool enough to become associated with, and whenever Leo deems something to be cool, it becomes so. Remember Titanic, a sappy love story about rich people on a boat made even sappier by its Celine Dion soundtrack? Case in point. I wonder if any reporter has ever had a psychosomatic asthma attack while sitting in the front row at a Leo press conference.

    At the Beach

    Leo at beach

Leo’s favorite pastime appears to be lounging at the beach, surrounded by attractive people, vaping on some e-cig or other. Somehow, despite immense efforts on the part of various yuppies, media people, and public health alarmists, Leo has not yet been convinced that vaping is an uncool, low-class habit. He certainly makes vaping look cooler than Jenny McCarthy has ever made it look.

    On Boats

    Leo vaping on boat

    Enough said.

    While Biking

    Leo vaping on bike

Leo really enjoys vaping while biking, and it’s no wonder that he does. Every former smoker turned vaper raves about their newfound ability to, you know, breathe, and seeing as breathing is integral to biking and engaging in any other physical activity, it makes total sense that Leo would be showing off his improved lung function by vaping and biking. This is also kind of a middle finger to the media’s disinformation campaign on the topic of vaping and health. We’ve all seen Leo get a little flabby at times, but none of those times happened while he was vaping. I’m guessing. Maybe.

One final question I have about this, though, is how many flipping cigarettes this man was smoking before switching to vaping. He appears to vape everywhere, and unless he’s vaping 0mg nicotine e-liquid, he must have been an extremely heavy smoker prior to his switch. In any case, I am happy to know that he’s improved his life, and also to know that I have something in common with Leo. Leoooooo!

    Happy vaping!
